An item is one thing with an expiration date: a trade license, an insurance policy, a vehicle registration, a contract, a domain, a certificate, an employee ID. Each item can have multiple reminder rules, multiple recipients, and a renewal history — none of that counts extra. Only the item itself counts toward your plan limit.

By email, on the schedule you choose. For each item you set offsets — for example 90, 30, 7, and 1 days before expiry — plus the hour and timezone to send in. Reminders can fire once or repeat daily or weekly until the date passes. Each email includes the item’s details and a one-click “mark as handled” link, so you can see who acknowledged what. Email reminders are unlimited on every plan.

Anytime, from inside the app. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply from your next billing period. If you cancel, your data stays readable so you can export everything as CSV.

Nothing breaks. Everything you already track keeps sending reminders as scheduled — you just can’t add new items, contacts, or users past the cap until you upgrade or free up space. The app tells you clearly when you’re at a limit.
